Notes for Visitors with mobility problems

Rose Flat was specially designed for the users of wheelchairs. However, different people have different requirements, so please ask us for what you would like.

 

Some particular fittings:

 

The table lamp between the two beds has a switch just under the bulb, which can be difficult to operate. We have an extra switch, which is much easier to operate and can be placed on the table surface.

 

The shower can be fitted with a slatted wooden seat.

 

We can provide a seat raiser for the toilet.

 

We do not have a telephone in place, since most people prefer to use their mobile. If you would like to use a land-line, we can provide a phone and charge you for your outgoing calls.

 

Please feel free to move furniture around as you wish. The beds, however, are extremely heavy and we suggest you do not try to move them yourself.
